Throughout the year we run core (compulsory) and optional events which will connect you with your cohort, The Data Lab, key experts in the data industry including potential employers and academic leaders. These events support you through your MSc and include networking opportunities such as the Welcome and Closing events. 

We also provide training sessions and webinars covering employability skills; communication skills with a focus on the online world; and an innovation/data challenge all which will help you to put your academic skills into practice and boost your employability. You are expected to attend all of the core events. Students who attend 80% of events will receive The Data Lab MSc certificate.
