So you want a career in research?

Are you undecided about whether you will follow a career in academia or go out into industry? Have you considered a pathway that provides exposure to both worlds as either a doctoral student or employee working as part of a three-way partnership with a University and an organisation in a role to create real impact and drive innovation? 

In this session, you will learn about a variety of opportunities available to graduates in Scotland including Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs) and Industrial Doctorates (PhD/EngD). You will view a pre-recorded panel session that introduces some of the academic career options available with opportunity for Q&A with some of the panellists. This will be followed by a live showcase session where representatives from Universities will present lightning talks on PhD opportunities for September 2021 start with application processes open now.
