The Data Lab #DataSocks competition – free DataSummit ticket to be won!

We’ve got some wonderful Data Lab socks that you can get your hands on (or feet into)! And what’s more, we’re running a competition to see who can tweet the best photo of themselves wearing our lovely socks whilst off doing important data science work. The winner of our photo competition will get a FREE ticket to DataSummit19.

The Data Lab #DataSocks Competition

  • How to get your #DataSocks:

Bring a donation to us at the Bayes Centre for the charity dressCode, or bring a Cash for KidsChristmas present.

  • Then get tweeting – we want to see your #DataSocks on Tour:

Tweet a photo of your socks worn in a crazy location or off to the best data event, plus use #DataSocks and tag us.

The winner of the best photo will win a ticket to DataSummit, our two-day international data science and innovation conference.

Remember to use #DataSocks and tag us!

Charity donations will be passed on to the inspiring Toni Scullion’s (teacher at St Kentigern’s Academy in Blackburn, West Lothian), new charity dressCode , a modern lunchclub that encourages schoolgirls to learn coding. (Read more)

Alternatively, bring a child’s Christmas present to donate to the Cash for Kids Christmas mission.
