Are you a member of a Scottish startup or high growth SME using data and AI technology? Would you benefit from learning from trailblazers in Silicon Valley on both scaling your business and the latest AI developments?
The Data Lab are delighted to partner with Silicon Valley angel investor Chris Neumann on our Learning Journey to San Jose in September. Chris will be facilitating two days of immersive learning that will enable you to learn and apply the knowledge from the world’s greatest tech ecosystem into your own business.
The programme will provide a number of elements including:
· An introduction to Silicon Valley
· Business models
· How to raise funds
· The VC landscape
· An opportunity to practice your own pitch.
The programme will be delivered by a diverse mixture of experienced founders, Silicon Valley investors and other subject matter experts in order to provide participants with a complete view of how Silicon Valley companies operate. The agenda will lean heavily on audience participation (Q&A, fireside chats, etc.) to ensure that participants not only learn best practices from the Silicon Valley but are able to ask frequent questions to better understand how to apply those best practices to their own companies in Scotland.
We will then attend the O’Reilly Artificial Intelligence conference in San Jose to complete the week, learning from leading figures across AI.
The full schedule (subject to alteration) for The Data Lab’s San Jose learning journey is:
· Saturday 7th: September: Arrivals
· Sunday 8th : Welcome Dinner
· Monday 9th & 10th Tuesday: Chris Neumann – Learning from the Silicon Valley ecosystem
· Wednesday 11th & Thursday 12th : O’Reilly AI Conference
