The Data Lab in collaboration with Scottish Development International (SDI) is supporting a limited number of places to attend the Big Data & Analytics for Banking Summit in New York (USA), taking place on 1 and 2 December 2015.
The Big Data & Analytics for Banking Summit brings together analytics executives and data scientists working in banking and financial services, offering unique insight into the innovations that are driving success in these industries. The event showcases a variety of executive presenters working on Investment Analytics, FCC & Compliance, Advanced Analytics, Data Governance, Marketing Analytics and Credit Risk Modelling. The Data Lab and SDI intend to lead a Learning Journey targeted at engaging with the event’s delegates.
The Data Lab is offering 8 fully-paid passes for the event, and SDI is complementing the offer with travel & accommodation support in the form of a flat-rate grant up to a maximum of £1300 based on support levels for USA (East Coast) and a maximum of 5 nights in-market. In addition, SDI field representatives could, where appropriate, organise a full visit program to include possible external meetings with relevant organisations.
If participating in the Learning Journey you should therefore plan to be in the US for the minimum period of 1-2 December and attend the conference on both days.
Companies should note that places are limited and these will be allocated based on the relevance for both the applying organisation, and their representative. This Learning Journey is targeted at senior leaders at CTO level or equivalent. Applications will be assessed with regard to their fit with the objectives of the Learning Journey and their ability to derive benefits / insights for Scotland from their participation. Participating companies will also need to commit to a post-event survey regarding outcomes delivered.
