Using Data to Improve the Health and Wellbeing of the People of Scotland
March 9 @ 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm
Scotland’s National Performance Framework was relaunched in 2018, and puts health and wellbeing at the heart of evidence based policy making. Scotland faces a challenging undertaking in its mission to provide high quality and equitable healthcare for all. To this end, timely and responsibly sourced data that is available to the public is a vital tool.
We will be presenting a series of talks focused on this theme. These include exploring the relationship between homelessness and health datasets for the first time at a national level; evidencing child wellbeing; using data to inform and evaluate public health policy and a guide for the public on how they can use the new open data tools to obtain information about their local area.
There will be breaks for networking and a Q&A with all of our speakers. These events are aimed at the general public and those who have an interest in the use of public data.
