The Last Mile: Closing the gap between analytics investment and adoption
June 11 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
When it comes to monetising enterprise data and using applied analytics and AI to unlock business value, there’s no shortage of interest and even investment within UK financial services. But there’s often a gap between expectation and reality when it comes to financial return. We’ve found this often stems from lower than anticipated user adoption of new solutions, something we call the ‘last mile’ – actually getting people to use the things that are built.
But why is it so hard to drive adoption? And why is it so difficult to change the behaviour of end-users to be more data-led? And perhaps more importantly, what can we do to break through the last mile?
Abdul Malique, Chief Data Officer at AIG Talbot and Sam Netherwood, Behavioural Change Design Lead at Mudano share their thoughts on common pitfalls and things that are vital to get right in order for solutions to go viral and hence drive business value and ROI. Spoiler alert – it’s not always the things you might expect!
Graeme Asquith, Managing Director, UK Financial Services Applied Intelligence at Accenture will be hosting this conversation as Abdul and Sam talk through their experiences of crossing ‘the last mile.’
The webinar will be a 30-minute discussion followed by a 15 min Q&A session.
