Nesta in Scotland: AI for Good

Nesta’s AI for Good workshop will explore how Artificial Intelligence could be used to support charities to combat social issues in Scotland. Organisations developing artificial intelligence for social good will be on hand to talk about their uses of AI in straightforward terms using real world examples.
This is an introductory workshop and no prior knowledge or experience of artificial intelligence is required. It will be particularly relevant for people who are interested in the potential of new and emerging technologies to deliver their services and overcome challenges.
Nesta’s AI for Good workshop will be held on Wednesday the 11th of March, between 2:30-4:30pm with a limit of 50 attendees. Bayes Centre, 47 Potterrow, Edinburgh EH8 9BT.
Who is it for?
Anyone in the third sector who wants to better understand what Artificial Intelligence is and how it can be used to address social issues or deliver efficiencies.
Please be aware that photography and filming may take place during the event. The photos and video may be used to promote future events on the DataFest and / or The Data Lab websites and social media channels and on digital and/or print/promotional materials.
If you do not wish to be included, please let the event organiser know on the day and we will give you an identifier so the photographers / videographers know not to include you.
