From Zero to Hero: ML Series Part 8 - Support vector machines

Mar 20 2019 6:15 pm - 9:15 pm

Venue: Bayes Centre

External Events

This week we're going to talk about support vector machines as part of the Zero to Hero Machine Learning series. A Jupyter notebook will be shared ahead of the event.

We introduce a new concept: From Zero to Hero, a Machine Learning Workshop Series.

The intent is to take the audience from the basics of Machine Learning up to Deep Neural Networks and advanced concepts such as GANs and Autoencoders in about 10 bi-weekly sessions (with breaks to accommodate students and professionals).

The series is self-contained and we do *not* expect any prior knowledge in the field and very limited knowledge in programming languages or frameworks. We will always explain all mathematical and programmatical concepts and used frameworks.

Programming will be done in Pythin through Jupyter notebooks. We will upload a link to a guide on how to install this on your machine over the weekend.

It is of advantage if you bring your own laptop as there will be small exercises throughout the workshop.

Pizza and Softdrinks served.
