Cancer Innovation Challenge – Closing Reception
March 12 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
An informal reception event to celebrate the end of the Cancer Innovation Challenge project.
Launched in 2017, the Cancer Innovation Challenge was a £1M project funded by the Scottish Government through the Scottish Funding Council to improve cancer care and outcomes in Scotland through open innovation in data. The project was a collaboration between The Data Lab, Digital Health & Care Institute and Stratified Medicine Scotland, and was supported by the Innovative Healthcare Delivery Programme (IHDP), Usher Institute, NHS National Services Scotland (NSS), Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland, and the Universities of Edinburgh and Stirling.
Come along and celebrate the end of the project with us and hear from some of the key projects we funded and what impact they’ve had on cancer care and outcomes in Scotland.
Please be aware that photography and filming may take place during the event. The photos and video may be used to promote future events on the DataFest and / or The Data Lab websites and social media channels and on digital and/or print/promotional materials.
If you do not wish to be included, please let the event organiser know on the day and we will give you an identifier so the photographers / videographers know not to include you.
