Community & events

Scotland has the potential to lead the world in data science, generating knowledge and innovation that will benefit organisations and citizens around the globe.

We have all the right ingredients: pioneering companies, ground-breaking academic researchers, a growing talent pipeline and world-class infrastructure and facilities.

We act as a catalyst, supporting the community to blaze new trails, solve big problems, and lead on the world stage.

We do not work in isolation to move data science forward in Scotland, but rather with our network of partners and the wider data science community. We help to make things happen with our community, not just for them, and we encourage collaboration as a driving force for innovation.

Scotland’s thriving data science community is already proving that the best way to fulfil our potential is to bring together people from across a range of sectors and backgrounds so they can connect, share and work together.

That’s why we create opportunities for our growing community to come together, move data science forward and make an impact in Scotland and beyond
