David Telfer - Head of Pricing & Analytics for Ageas Retail Partnerships
David is Head of Pricing & Analytics for Ageas Retail Partnerships. Ageas are in the top 5 of motor insurers in the UK by size but perhaps are less well known due to the fact they write the vast majority of their business through brokers and partnerships. This is in line with the Global strategy of delivering Partnership models, concentrated largely in Europe & Asia.
David is relatively new to the Analytics space, having previously operated in largely commercial roles for the likes of Tesco Bank, RBSI, DLG and Aon (Hewitt).
His current role is effectively 'the bridge' as outlined in Paul Forrest's recent insightful presentation (January), and he will present about putting 'the bridge' into practise. He will talk through what he decided to include in his discussions with his Management Committee, what he learned along the way and how the will to invest significantly in Data Analytics is strengthening as a result of his recent strategical work.
